End of Year Goals Met!

As a result of a number of activities, events, stressors, and other things going on both personally and professionally, I haven’t had near as much time to dedicate to my writing as I’ve wanted to. So much for participating in NaNoWriMo this month! Writing is so incredibly cathartic and I absolutely need to find the time to squeeze it in. I know I’ve said this many times before, but I swear I mean it this time! It is a far healthier way to relieve some of that ongoing tension than alternative methods, and I always walk away from a writing spell feeling refreshed and calm.

During this break I’ve taken in the past month, a wonderful little image popped up in my activities thread that I haven’t had the opportunity to address until now:

At the beginning of the year, I had set a goal to reach at least 500 followers and 10k hits by the end of the year, a goal I am happy to say that I have met with months to spare! 🙂

This “trophy” was certainly the motivational boost I needed to get back into the swing of things, to reestablish a regular writing routine. It made me realize how badly I need (and have missed!) this amazing community to lean on and work with.

And so, thanks to all who made this personal milestone of mine a reality. I truly appreciate the camaraderie and support and genuinely love the conversations I have with each and every one of you.

Happy writing!! ❤

      1. HA! That they do. I’m dreaming of the day I can pack my car full of java, wine, and my computer to escape to a cabin in the woods to binge write for a week. Ahhh the life.
