Kinships and Kindred Spirits!

Day 11 – “K” Kinships and Kindred Spirits 🙂

As I’ve mentioned time and time again, one of the best things that has come out of my blogging experience so far is the phenomenal writing community I have developed. As one of my childhood heroines would describe it, I have found many “kindred spirits” since I started this blog, and am so ridiculously honored that anyone would take time out of their day to read what I have to write, whether that be a poem, a rant, or a random post.

The encouragement, the inspiration, the feedback and advice, and the motivation to keep chugging along is invaluable. There are a number of individuals who I’ve built great friendships with, who I comment back and forth with on our posts, sometimes sweet words of praise, sometimes ranting back and forth unintelligibly. I love knowing that I can always turn to this amazing group of people to get the push in the right direction I need.

This is a shortie as I am rushing to make it to a much needed writing group (yayyyy!). Considering I usually write FAR over the 300 word suggested length for the posts in this challenge (being ya know, wordy), I figure that it balances out. 😉

XOXO

    1. Awwww thanks, Stepheny!! I was in a rush writing this one, but I could EASILY drone on and on about how important these friendships are to me and invaluable with regards to encouragement!

  1. I’ve been amazed by the people I’ve met through blogging. I live in a decent sized town and am co-founder of a local writers group but we’re still so small and are fast losing members. It’s nice to know I’ve got a few peeps online I can write to when I need advice or talking down from the ledge of quitting. I’m glad I joined the A to Z this year, I’ve already discovered some new peeps 🙂

  2. Such true words. I love this community of bloggers… especially when I look forward to reading their posts. Like yours.

    1. I said “bloggers” and though they are included, I meant writers. 🙂 I especially love the indie authors I’ve met in the writing community!
